Asbestos regulations (The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, to be precise) place a legal duty on employers or premises owners to take steps to identify, manage and monitor asbestos-containing materials within their property. Our BOHS qualified competent surveyors not only identifies asbestos-containing materials but also provide strategic solutions, including asbestos removal advice and ongoing management.
How it works
Management Surveys
A management survey is the standard asbestos survey required for buildings in regular use. It aims to:

Identify Asbestos Presence
Locate, as far as reasonably practicable, the presence and extent of any suspected asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).

Assess Risk Levels
Evaluate the condition of ACMs that could be damaged or disturbed during normal occupancy.

Use Sampling or Presumption
Involve a combination of material sampling or the presumption of asbestos presence.

Highlight Inaccessible Areas
Identify areas that cannot be accessed, which will be presumed to contain asbestos until further investigation is conducted.
Refurbishment Surveys

Reinspection Surveys
Undertaking an annual assessment of the the condition of existing asbestos containing materials (ACM) is impertative for safe management of the risk asbestos poses in a building. Demolition Surveys
